Why are all these lies surrounding us?

It’s annoying!
I rebel against it

This is the new revolution between what’s real and what’s not

This mess got me hot
The old me is melting
and I’m taking a new shape

Why they teach us to like the stuff Christ hate?
Why they got us idolizing the wrong team?
We can’t pick up the bible, but we can recite our favorite memes?

It’s backwards
like desert before breakfast like sex before marriage  

They sugar coat everything
and have the nerve to add a cherry on top.

Out here confusing us, with all these rhymes and beats

Got our kids listening to sex musik, before the age of three

Got us thinking sobriety ain’t the place to be

When it’s the only state that we can truly see 

Yeah... I’m over it!
